Tickets in Apple Podcasts Connect
Before they’re available on Apple Podcasts, channels, shows, and subscriptions are reviewed to ensure they comply with our content and subscription guidelines. If our team finds an issue with your subscription, a ticket is opened and the subscription will not be available until the issues are corrected.
If a ticket is opened, Legal and Admin users will receive an email notification, see an Attention Needed icon on the channel or show, and see a ticket in the Inbox in Apple Podcasts Connect.
Ticket status
Tickets may be in any of the following statuses:
- Attention Needed This ticket needs to be addressed before the subscription can be available on Apple Podcasts.
-
Approved You addressed the issue and we accepted the update.
-
Canceled This ticket no longer requires action from you or Apple.
-
Pending You submitted updates and our team is validating them.
How to address a ticket
If a ticket was issued, address it as soon as possible by correcting the issue. You can either:
- Update the subscription benefit of your show or channel to match the audio you have uploaded.
- Upload subscriber audio to the episodes which include the subscription benefit. Learn how to create an episode in Apple Podcasts Connect. In this case, you’ll also need to reply to the ticket to confirm you’ve corrected the issue.
If you believe that your subscription was ticketed by mistake, use the contact support link in the ticket message to let us know.
After the ticket has been approved, your subscription will be available within 24 hours.
