Types of embed players

There are two types of embed players: Episode and Show. Each comes in compact and large sizes.

Episode embed

Feature a specific episode — its title, description, artwork, and playback controls. Perfect for highlighting a new release, a fan-favorite, or a trailer.

Compact — A streamlined player with artwork and playback controls.

Large — Adds more episode detail, and plays video for video episodes.

Large — Displays your show artwork, name, description, and a play button for the latest episode or trailer.

How to get your embed code

There are two ways to get embed code for your show or episode:

• Apple Marketing Tools: The fastest way to generate an Apple Podcasts embed code for any show or episode
• Apple Podcasts: Type podcasts.apple.com in your browser. Navigate to your show or episode page, tap the share button, then choose Copy Embed. Paste the HTML snippet into your website builder or CMS wherever you want the player to appear.

Embed player analytics

When a user clicks play, the embeddable player will progressively stream the episode from your hosting provider. Your hosting provider can report this event in the same way they report other streams of your show.

Plays from the Apple Podcasts web embed are not displayed in Apple Podcasts Connect Analytics.

Resize the player

The player will adjust to fit the space you need, but there is a minimum height and width required to ensure the player is visible to listeners. The embed player has a clearly labeled width and height you can adjust to fit your website.
